They keep saying that the closer to the well you are, the safer... not true. Halliburton paid for your CDL, so if the inevitable happens, use it. You don't want to be on a flex board. It's essentially the same as a temp agency. You sit at home until HES calls and then go to work until they don't need you. Then you go back on the board. Or... you can use that CDL... with hazmat... ( you did get your hazmat by now didn't you? )

Flex boards are stupid! It keeps young employees tied down. I'm not sure but I believe if you refuse flex board you essentially quit.
