It's not according to the gig book. It's by what the manager prefers. That way people don't feel like equals. More like superior vs dirt. What a moral killer.

They made all the pt20 tm fill out availibility formstwo weeks ago..i thought it would be funny if all of them organized and filled out the exact same availibility..only mornings mon-fri...etc..see where it gets kronos
They'll have to backtrack on it. No part timer is going to commit to open availability. It's another brilliant idea that will be abandoned once they realize that no one is available at all. Forget students or people with families or just other jobs. Who needs it? Oh, I forgot, we're changing the world.
Hmm. That must be related to the "needs of the business" that justifies requiring fully open availability, even for part time, without providing regular hours or benefits I wonder how long we can keep up this facade of high quality even as we continue to shove our quality workers out the back door.
