But my guess is the last departure will likely happen some time in June. Add 6+ to that at least with this current backlog that will be more like 12 probably and this is assuming you are in the top of the priority queue which is determined by the amount of time you have before your final H1B date. The sooner that is the higher you are in the priority queue.
I would advise you to research alternative ways of applying for green card. Who knows how many more layoffs will happen during that super long time.
