Can they make it without Carrollton? I really do not think they can. Too much invested in this office.

You are both dolts. You assume that your job level is the same across all areas of the world. An engineer that is a G3 in the USA may be an E1 in Singapore. The only way to know how someone is coded is to find out their job code that is tied to their Hal id. People doing your same job where you are a lead engineer here might be an associate engineer over there even though you both have the same job experience. As for the toothless hillbilly that can't seem to type a coherent sentence. This company absolutely has all of their facilities competing to be the lowest cost. They are pitting us against each other to save there damn bonus checks. That's all it is. So that they can win contracts for their bonus. Not because they care about any of us. Unless you are a K2 level or above you are a pee on and are irrelevant.
Go to Halworld website and see how much Halliburton counterparts are being paid around the world then, i'm not sure why you only target Singapore. I work in the USA too by the way. Go see how much your grade level in Angola, Thailand or Peru is worth then. We are all paid relative to our country's standard of living. A company can only generate revenue only if it extends out to other countries and use their resources (people is a resource too) and generate more revenue to feed the rest of the employees around the world. It's not fear mongering when the higher ups tell you that's what's happening. Bottom Line is that we can't compete with Singapore because they pay their employees A 3rd of the salary a US counterpart would make. If you owned a business what would you do? Answer: you would be hiring any Asian or Indian you could get your hands on to do the same job an American does but only pay them a third as much. Money talks and ol' Greg and Artie gotta get their bonus checks this quarter!
