The MAX/Depot merger is in shambles. Think of what "really bad" sounds like and double it. What your going to pay for Office Depot vs. your ROI is going to make you very upset. OD can't even get the basics right, pay vendors, fulfill customer orders. Supply chain has gone up in flames. Exec's are looking forward to the merger and a big payday and then they are going to bail. Every decision is a short term train-wreck with long term consequences. Assets are being sold at an alarming rate. Employee's are being pushed to their limit and No one cares...No one cares....Good luck to all of you and God help you if you acquire Depot/Max.

Yeah that makes sense. That is what I would do. You need to shut down Store/Xdocks as soon as you can.
It does not really matter - Staples only wants the BtoB customers and one less competitor and the rest will be trashed. Stores closed, Home office gutted etc.
Yes, I believe there is some pending litigation.
Right now we can't even get some of the basic product to our bigger customers. There are leaving us. It is embarrassing. They are about to shut down a bunch of stores and the entire corporate office is filled full of contractors and consultants. We are hearing big layoffs are coming. Also Store manager got pay cuts based on the the size of their store! No place to put our inventory, We are overstocked and have big cash flow issues.
Is OD/OM still being sued over their contract overcharging on State & local governments?
