Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

So many people got laid off because there were too many levels of extra management that were created and not necessary to run a business.

Of course most were living in a fantasy world believing they worked their way up and got promoted into real jobs that were TOTALY not necessary.

Face it the business will not stop running because all those people are gone.

There is bad management that does not know how to run a business and the only solution is to bring in an outside consulting company to drop the ax because they don't have the balls to do it because they created the problem.

It was a sad day, a ton of people laid off

Glad you're finding this funny, but a lot of really good people who worked their way up got lay offed as well.

Many were buds with the COO and had no problem bragging about it and telling everyone that is how he got his job.

Ha ha, that only lasted two years and no longer any protection from Copeland.
