Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Outsourced to an Indian Compan

I heard the rumor that Cabela's may be outsourcing work to Indian company. Is this true. If yes, I will never set my foot in your store again - you make enough money to employ US workers and pay them fair wages, if you chose a path of betrayal and forget that God and Country is what people here stand here for, that's your choice but you will lose my business forever!

Most everything they sell, other than guns, is made in China.

WOW . This company let the hard working employees go and kept the ones that know how to kiss @@@ and party . They are not the only company to keep worthless employees and let the good ones go

I fly up and work with the staff at Cabelas HQ on a regular basis and have never worked with a better bunch of American patriots and hard core hunters. While I do not know what the reasoning is behind the recent layoffs, I can say that among all the bigger outdoor stores in the US, they are definitely one of the best run. It is always sad when companies are forced to layoff good people for financial reasons, but in the end, it comes down to laying off some or succumbing to the effects of a financial collapse and closing the doors for everyone. I'm still hopeful they pull through and do not get bought out by a lesser company or investment company that does not care about anything or anyone but money.

And Mexico so they can just have it walked across into the US.

The Texas stores should now since they hire the Mexicans so their diversity numbers look good.
