Q4 end is 4/30. 4/30 - 3/1 = 61 days. If they send out the notices on 3/1, this would give everyone full benefits (not just partial month), provide 60 days of termination notice before Q4 end, and also would fall within what GK promised the market on the earnings call.

We have been told to cancel travel trips for next week. All existing trips are cancelled for the week and future trips too. They have told us the cancellation is due to the new travel policy but the policy does not take effect until March 7th.
Getting rid of perks is not the answer to keeping jobs. There is a fundamental issue with the core of this company. This won't be the last round of layoffs. I'd expect another one same time next year, if not later this year, because as the company is changing, they'll start getting rid of more departments, projects, and locations in order to streamline.
Mgmt. needs to do it sooner than later. Productivity has gone down and employee moral is low. Some hope they get the ax to go to companies that want them. Sunnyvale folks are already leaving.
Here's a thought, how about getting rid of the beer bashes, bagels, fruit, etc. to save jobs!! Perks are nice but not needed.
Thinking its next week. If any later, company will need to pay out bonus.
60 days = April 18th. Previous layoffs have been on Tuesdays, but my prediction is April 18th.
