It took me 6 months but I'm now with GE.
It's was the best thing to happen to me, have a better job outside the O&G. Don't have to worry if it's my last day everyday. There's is a life afterwards, just do it!!'

On the other hand i managed to move out of state got a hell of a lot better & stable job un related to O&G .... Look to mil contracts, SDI, GSI and maybe you to can move on but only if you can obtain a top secret clearance... Working 6 days a week now since leaving weatherford Huntsville. Fished last summer now making up for it. Gonna put some money back for retirement.
Yes, there is. Laid off last year, never looked back and glad the waiting was over.
Since leaving WFT I have become a faggot and now rent myself out. Making a lot more $$$$ than I ever did at Houma. The downside is a extremely sore butt most mornings, but so much better than having piles sitting around at Houma and watching my butt.
Found another job the day after being laid off that pays me about $25K more per year. Being laid off was one of the greatest things to ever happen in my life.
Yes there is life after Weatherford. But Weatherford is finished. They are very poor planners.
