This is bullcrap. I have expensive habits and a wife. I need that damn raise. Guess I will get on my knees and earn it the old fashioned way........oh wait that is a hobby I enjoy.

Are you really complaining over a very small focal point raise? Be glad you have a job in these times.

Bunch of cry babies. While they claim lay off was to save money but yet they lay off lower paid and keep the sick and lame. Yeah was there for a fire drill and they had to bring one guy out in a cart cause he can't walk. The whole layoff deal sucks but be grateful you have a job cause you won't find obe for what you get paid now

Who gives a shit if execs took a cut on their base pay? Most of their money is made through stock options, FFS.

You self centered putz. You got a job you greedy ingrate. Here's a thought, the entire sector is going thru a reset, everybody got greedy and when the bubble burst, the prices crashed. Now it's time for a reset. If you got a job, you ain't had to go thru that reset - yet. You must now consider the fact that at some point your day of reckoning will come, especially as you acquire a growing force of coworkers who have. Consider that your present salary is artificially inflated. Oh, management not included. Have a lovely day.

I am grateful i still have job during this tough times, and still some income to support my family. Please look at some friends and colleague who have lost their job, and havent found one for months. Sometimes we need to look on our friends who struggle rather than keep looking up.

I pray God would help us all and make us stronger after all.

With layoffs and the market, how is anyone surprised there isn't a focal point raise? You have a job...
