I work for another oil company in okc. I just wanted to let you know that we are rooting for you guys. The employees at CHK have done an amazing amount of good for this city. From charity to tutoring at my sons school, I have always found all of you to be the best of people. There are a lot of people on these boards that love to drag you down into their world. Try not to let them get to you. Some have been let go to save the company , and some just hate the oil and gas industry. Try not to take them to seriously. Also as far as the 26th. That day is being posted on almost all thelayoff pages for companies here in town. They don't know anything. Hang in there guys and good luck.

Wow, what a terrible board. Someone comes on here and wishes you well and this is what you do? I knew CHK hired young and immature. This board proves it. Too those of you who are mature, I wish you well, and its a stressful time for all of us in the energy sector. For the bad wishers, if this is your attitude you will get what you you deserve.
I'm short CHK, so I'm actually rooting AGAINST you. If you could all just, stop working or something, maybe slack off a bit, that would be helpful.
Hey, if you ever start feeling down, just go buy yourself a new nut truck, say like an F350. Put some big tires on it and just rage around like your on steroids. You will feel better and it will make your D bigger.

CHK is doomed and everyone knows it. It will be interesting to watch the last of the big rats scurrying off the decks of the SS CHK.
CHK has a chance to survive this downturn, but the employees are getting pretty nervous. If the company makes it past the next 2 years, the rewards will be quite great.
