Read reviews about Kmart the customer service is bad, employees are unhappy, & the products don't have the same reliability as they did back in the day. Lampert is using SHC like a cash cow instead of investing in making the company better. There are so many issues that are going unaddressed. It can't go on like this. No business can operate under circumstances like this. It spells bankruptcy for SHC if it continues.

Work overnights half the time IN THE DARK with NO HEAT. No regard for the employees by corporate at all. Sexual harassment claims get ignored, employees are treated like animals. It's nearly impossible to find simple trash bags or even paper towels in the bathrooms. The store is filthy, everything is falling apart. Regional comes in, swears at management and employees til they are in tears and Corp allows it. Employee complaints are disregarded entirely. The only reason I remain is for 1 manager and my crew. Working for this company is definitely abuse
One store 4 even keeps 1 an assistant 2 manager that 3 has been moved to more stores because of sexual harassment complaints than a Catholic prest in Boston!
All that ever happens is finger pointing and ass covering all the way up to the top! Nobody has ever done anything to try to fix anything. District and regional management swearing at managers and employees on the sales floor in front of customers! Very few people in management at corporate or store level with any real ability to lead or even do their job! Last few years, most new hires leave in handcuffs including best friend of hr lead! What a f...ing joke!
He realized the real estate value by closing the stores SHC owned. Rented a lot as offices last year.All they really care about is how to make the big money shareholders happy who's family would never shop or work for Kmart.

It really can't go on...but it does. perhaps because we remember when it was better. It goes on till it just doesn't because we get up and go to work...it's what we do. I use to go home feeling good about what we managed to do. Now we just get through another day.
