Okay, just so you know. I have dibs on the intersection at I-10 and Antoine, south side of freeway. I'll be working that corner for handouts so back off bub. I can go grab lunch and a break at the IKEA. You others gonna have to find your own spot.
Holy sweet jesus... Its coming down to $29 / Barrell
Down the highway Dave. With your millions of dollars. Working people made for you.
If those numbers are accurate, huge cuts still ahead. Think, we have barely erased the gains 2012-2014. We need to be far smaller than when we started 2012. 2016 is shaping up to be down as much as 30 to 40 % from 2015 in terms of industry CAPEX, and that will probably get worse if we stay sub 40 dollar oil for much longer.
Q2 2012-Q3 2014 = recruiting approx 22,000 people worldwide
Q4 2014 = Laying off 6,600
Q1 2015 = Laying off 6,400
Q2 2015 = Laying off 3,800
Q3 2015 = laying off 3,000
Q4 2015 = tentatively 3,000-4,000 ... worldwide
Lucky layoff number 4500
I'm just waiting for the merger to not go through, and then can't wait for the implosion at the top between Executives. The only reason Halliburton did not make early commissions to the EU was that most (if not all) 'workers' were let go in 2015, and all the incompetent and over paid 'Delegators' remain who spend all day trying to find the 'any' key on their keyboard. You can't make chicken salad with chicken crap. Big Red is doomed!!! Karma is a bitch who is going to kick you in the ass, Dave.
how many are still left for now ?
