Where is it written that my boss can text me on my day off multiple I'm talking 15 - 20 times a day yelling at me for something that he feels wasn't done correctly. Why can't they wait till I get into work. This is my time off I'm not on the clock I'm not getting paid for this he does it all the time everyday and sends pictures I think it's against the law anybody else having this issue.

The title of my position above tells you I have been away from Staples. Managers do that in my current job. I feel they are looking for an outlet to cent. I don't reply or bring it up when I go back to work. I left Staples because I was being held accountable for sales dropping $40000 from month to month. When I left, the store was still in business. It closed a year after I left. So who was really responsible for the loss in sales? They had a whole year after I left.
They don't own your text, you do. I am aware of sh#t headed DM's that do this routinely too. The simple fix is to simply block them on your phone...
I feel your pain brother. The Ops Mgr position is the kiss of death in this company right now. You probably have more responsibilities than the GM and all you get out of it is being thrown under the bus and being the scapegoat. Seems like most Ops are going through this right now. My guess is because they intend to eliminate the position in most if not all stores in a few weeks.
You may have a much large problem than this. If he is harassing you this much he is probably looking for reasons to get rid of you like they have so many other Ops Managers. On a side note, I got a really nasty text from my GM on my day off once about the toner aisle being empty and torn apart. They were screaming at me in caps "WTF IS GOING ON??? WHY IS TONER A F**KING DISASTER??". It went on with various curses and insults for about half an hour. I completely ignored it and went in the next day like nothing happened. He avoided me all day and when we had to deal with each other he wouldn't talk about it , never apologized. I had opened the day before I was off, the GM was off, the SM closed and decided to try to start the toner PoG at 6pm.
I think I just might send a bill to corporate for my phone usage, text, calls, and pictures as this uses my data plan....or I'll tell him to punch me in every time he does this when I'm off the clock. He is costing me money!
I am the ops mgr, I punch a clock 45 hours a week....my day off or when I'm off the clock should be just that...or so I thought. .it's aggrivating especially when his texts are,all caps and it has other people on the tread. ....so unprofessional of him...I'm not on call 24/7......or are we
Ignore them, do not respond, or politely state that you are off the clock and will discuss it when you are at work. If he harasses you for not answering him, take it up with HR. I was drawn into a "discussion" with some idiot from LP at a meeting about the same thing and the HR person present discreetly told the LP ass to STFU.
Are you a manager on salary or hourly regular store employee. What kind of pictures?
