Don't forget about coming in late, write ups and finals. No need for these with robots. Remember control.

3rd party or robots. Robots would be the way to go management would really like that control. They can work a lot faster and don't take breaks. They don't ask for raises or any benefits. They don't steal or leave early or cheat time.

From an operation stand point 3rd party is the way to go. Look at it this way you will not have to pay out bonuses, insurance, vacations, sick time, equipment, supplies and trucks. Think about this Sycamore this is the future more money in your pockets.

They can do this if they hire a nation wide moving company and use third party installer to do the bigger jobs. Delivering furniture is not a hard job but installing the bigger jobs ARE THE PROBLEM.

Just grab some popcorn, beer and chair this should be a good show.

And then 3rd party won't be able to handle the volume and they'll miss or cancel appointments. Then they'll do call backs and ask former furniture associates if they want to work as an independent contractors at half the pay and no benefits. It all sounds legal and Staples is just "doing what's right for the shareholders". There is more to it and I bet dollars to donuts that the top echelon of Staples is just as corrupt as those of WorldCom, Enron, Countrywide and Tiger Direct. Not into gay porn, but would like to see the look on Ron's face when the door is slammed shut on the cell he will share with Otis.
