Citrix Stock Price Goes Down

I looked at the Citrix stock price and it remains exactly where it was when the vultures at Elliot Management began to assail Citrix. I suspect that the only satisfaction we might take is that the broader stock market decline will likely take down Elliot Management with them. Unfortunately, they have already done enough raiding having bought some options that the Citrix stock would rise before they sent their infamous letter and overthrew Mark T.

The best thing to do is to prepare, stay relevant, and begin to explore options elsewhere. Citrix looks like a sinking ship and I suspect other competitors will supplant it within the next few years. At least there will be other companies undergoing growth whist Citrix begins to languish in the mire.

They are concentrating on the core business that is dying out eveyrhwere - even Citrix itself was moving away from centralized published apps such as SAP to web based non hosted apps for HR and such. I don't see how concentrating on desktop and apps is anything but a death knell.

I hope share price goes low, because Bill Big Guy has lots of shares and lots of interest in make Citrix go bad so can take money out. He make finance good on paper but we have lost support, edocs, security, test teams and no longer can make product in long term. In development we need the test and bug fixers and documentation or else product rot. Short term maybe someone think product finance look good but in 6 months we can not help customer or make product that works well.
