Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

$33 oil today and falling. We are shooting ourselves in the foot. Why are we producing more oil as the price falls making future matters worse?

U.S. government data on Wednesday showed a 10.6 million-barrel surge in gasoline supplies, the biggest weekly build since 1993, rattling investors already concerned by near-record production and massive stockpiles around the world. We seem to be wanting to go down in flames with overproduction all over the world. The CRASH is inevitable now! 😱⛽️

Because if US cut production, the oil price goes up, and Saudi etc will reap the rewards by continuing their high production levels. It's all games. Nobody wants other countries to benefit over them. So we all suffer instead
