Laid off 12/8. Received final paycheck on 12/15. Anna from HR told me that unused vacation would be on that check as well. Also, termination paperwork stated it would be on the same check as final wages. It was not, so I contacted Jessica (Anna's boss). Jessica said that sometimes it takes extra time to pay vacation, and that it would come on 12/30. Guess what....I still have not received my unused vacation. I have had to file a claim with the Texas Workforce Commission under the Texas Payday Law, Title 2, Chapter 61 of the Texas Labor Code. Just when I thought that WFT couldn't make me miserable anymore....

Not complete nonsense.....just letting others know what to expect. WFT will use every delay tactic possible to keep from paying you as long as possible. Its not a sob story either...its fact! I will post the email exchanges once I can be sure that my ip address can be obscured.
