Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

I love how they (JJ and MB) just had to send out these emails about the selection process for the upcoming layoffs. I guess they just couldn't wait until after the holidays were over. I cannot understand the timing. Everyone knows it is coming. Having these emails confirm that it will be drug out for 4 more months will likely just make people more anxious...but they want you to stay focused on your job and try not to think about what is coming as they continue to send you emails to repeatedly remind you of the impending doom.
