I left a few months back and now use Amazon aws on a daily basis. There is no comparison to an on premise solution. For 80% of the workloads, Amazon beats anything on prem in terms of delivery time and if you are careful cost.

This is one of those Novell moments when it is time to learn a new skill set.

Ask any employee, this is not a GPTW despite how much emphasis the company outs on that ranking. #9 GPTW for Japan I think is the most recent one. Meanwhile they're selling half their real estate in California and laying off 1500 people.
