I am not sure why but I feel safer about there not being any layoffs in RBU...the panic has finally left and more work being done.

To FZ3NItm-1kwm, staff will be easily found when things start looking up in mid-year (maybe) 2018. Yes, I said 2018! Every time oil prices looks like they will increase OPEC will increase production! So no need keep a large staff as they will not be needed! Remember COP is now a drowning Independent that still acts like an integrated oil company! Get use to a small staff where people do multiple jobs and disciplines! That is the real way an Independent operated! If you can't change and handle that, then be prepared to be released for other opportunities! Now that is the true reality! By the way if COP can not change to the way business is conducted it will cease as a company.
I agree 2017
No layoffs until maybe 2017. They need the people when things turn around.
FZ3NItm-1woi only a small core team is needed to answer BLM questions or even submit additional paper work! Most of the employees are not needed and will be shown the exit door! That will happen soon and not months away! I'd bet by the end of March and the latest by end of May.
BLM issues say otherwise, but those things take months then another few months of looming emails and torture so I say most people in rockies have until November. Save that VCIP
Sure seems like someone is under the influence of a Rocky Mountain high! Keep on smoking and keep that mellow feeling as they escort you out the building!
There must be an RBU in Lala Land, sounds like a lovely place.

Are you wearing your dogs thunder jacket
Check the work schedule again. Leo has effectively shut out the lights in the Bakken. All contractors are gone by mid-March. Company employees are next. One rig drilling about a dozen wells. They aren't even planning on completing all the wells that are currently drilled, so if you feel safe now, you must be kissing or sucking on someone.
I recall when grandma was putting up chickens for the winter, she had to occasionally pause to sharpen her axe. Just saying.
