I look forward to the post from someone who was working at Q back in 90s and left the company in 00s when he realized that things were not going well.

Confirmed! Layoff will be announced tomorrow. No severance package this time and the cut will be limited to a single person (the OP).
WT 11th floor balcony is now open in case you want to jump. Please try to clear the lower balconies to minimize infrastructure damage. If you want to be a hero, you can try to clear the cafeteria roof to land directly on the concrete next to the basketball court. Suggest you wear a GoPro and maybe have a drone follow you down so we get both the jumper's POV as well as a good side shot for posterity. We'll get you profiled on the intranet page (Outside the Q).
