Upcoming severance packages won't be as generous. Package is going to be 1 month base salary and 1 week salary for each year of service, regardless of title. Everyone will get a 60 day notice, however.
If Qualcomm just got rid of all the H1B puks that can't understand how to "be effective at taking risks", they'd be fine. Too much ineffective non-decision making happening, and you can't get anything done in 'market time' now. Even the H1B masters in charge of their H1B underlings can't make a decision unless they get their 'community' to agree. Sad! Everything takes way too long to design and manage anymore. Sucks!
