Nope, they don't follow ... they poorboy by attending all the datarooms and skimming data withiut having purchased seismic or well data in the area. Then they use this information to decide where to go. In a game where the best data interpreted well is the key it is no wonder that a poorboy approach yields poorboy results.
Our exploration groups just follow what other companies do anyway....so do you really expect much from them?
