There are reports on other sites of the FLPM position being eliminated entirely. As far as DMs. it makes sense with closing stores to combine districts and cut DMs, how wide spread were the cuts?

I think we have all heard about the cuts and what not. I know my DM is being demoted and she will only have 5 to 6 stores. So she is a mini market manager now. I'm sure we'll see her just about every week.
1-2 DMs per region is still to low, they should have gotten rid of more, and some RVPs.
Those remaining are going to be even more vicious now, although the ones that were let go were probably chosen by age/salary rather than performance.
I am still snickering about the DM fools that left early and ALLOWED themselves to be lured back. What were they thinking?
DM's store total was moved up to 15. Excess DM's were shown the door. You can guess that mysteriously most of those DM's were the higher paid older ones heheh. I have no specifics on LP other than the hints that I've seen and I'm guessing it looks bloody. However folks this is just the opening gambit, not the end game. I'll say it again LESS than 500 stores in the US and guess what? If the merger goes through (It won't) the store total after about a year longer LESS than 500, yeah the same...
LP wasn't done away with completely but I was told a number of them are gone. Heard 1-2 DMs/region have been dismissed.
