ABU Perth Layoffs

1) Does anyone have any updates on ABU layoffs? We aren't impacted by the US ROMs (Alpha/Beta) but what does Roy have planned for us?

2) I'm a 12 year employee in the ABU IT department. An RFP has been sent out to outsource the majority of the IS / IT function. Does anyone have updates to the timing/scope of this?

3) What's our severance like? Previous folks got 4 weeks per year served up to a max limit of some sort. Is this being reduced in ABU to 2 weeks per year served for the next folks to go?

I thinking that after ABU Perth is downsized the group will transfer to the 8th floor just above ExxonMobil on the corner of St Georges Terrance x King St. Or, heck, after XOM buys CHV, ABU Perth will fit into to 7th cubicals vacated by the ExxonMobil Jansz drillers 12 months ago!

Sorry, I could not help myself – It’s amazing what poor management can do to wreck a formerly great company. It’s so sad. I’ve seen it done to CHV, BP, COP, UTP and others. It effect so many people. It just makes me sick.
