The truth is most people complaining about being laid off now were dying to stay with COP at the split. How many of you threw others under the bus to get back to upstream? How many of you thought P66 was going off to die a slow death? It's amazing how fortunes change.

Your bright spot seems a little dim this morning
I fought tooth and nail to stay with COP during the split. One year to the day after the split I received a call from P66 asking if I would consider a position with them. I thought about it for 10 seconds and said yes. Sure glad I did but my spouse still works for COP often 12 hour days because of a shortage of workers in that group. The threat of layoff hangs over my spouse daily and the stress is often manifested in illness.
The employees were presented with bad information. Quite a few employees concluded one company or another was the better fit and proceeded as such.
PSX is the only bright spot in my energy stock portfolio.
