TCs & cognizant have revised upwards the starting salaries for BE/BTECH Engineers it will have cumulative impact on Engineers salaries in the IT industry.. Even start ups are offering 5 lpa to Engineers...

Salaried for DM and DD's will revised and increased as reward for laying off experienced people and using more trainees.
Heavy bonuses will be gived to DM and DD in Sweatshop account like logistic and amix banking where hard labour is common
Syntel claims to be a level 5 company..it will have to catch up with the IT big boys like TCS by raising the starting salary for Engineers by atlesst 40,000 rupees.
No why we can impelemtn leadn idea
ie - instead they will go to more and more mediocre engg colleges (with dubious quality of education) where no other company hires an dhore for low salaries. After all un employment is so rampant any job is koay and pay doesnt matter much.
the folks there will be elated getting campus placement and will wait for years to get joining letters.
