Thread regarding SandRidge Energy Inc. layoffs

Anyone having unemployment claim issues?

That whole, "oh it's so easy to file unemployment now - it's online!" is proving to be BS. First of all, the site claims to work only with IE versions 4 - 9. Keep in mind, there are 3 newer versions of IE, and if you have a new PC that runs Windows 10, you now have Edge, not IE 9, 10 or 11. Microsoft no longer offers IE 9 installs.

After going through the initial questions, setting up my OK Job Match profile/resume, I get to the the page of questions that asks for your SSN and DOB, and it keeps saying my DOB is invalid.

I don't even think my SD computer had IE 9. I have a Macbook and so do all my friends. I guess I'll be calling to finish my claim.

So I was able to file online, but when I try to enter my weekly it says it cannot find my SSN. When I call in it says all weekly claims filed. WTF?

It keeps asking which company I was laid off from, Sandridge is not there. How did you get over it?

GOOGLE CHROME works fine on the unemployment website. I used it with no problems. (Oh, and by the way, Windows 10 has Edge AND IE11).

it took me forever to get through and setting up the direct deposit via another 800 number took even longer. FYI, if you choose direct deposit go to www.oesc.ok.gov and select "Unemployment Benefits" then choose "Attention". Print out that form, complete it and fax in. No one tells you to do that BEFORE you call the direct deposit hotline and it could've saved me a lot of time.

Does anybody have any updates on this? I've been on hold with their office for over an hour. This is a terrible experience dealing with the unemployment office.

You really need to call in. I suggest calling in early in the AM. You will get 425 a week after taxes up to 10,500 a year I believe? Best of luck.

Good luck calling on hold for more than 3 hours on 3 different calls. Finally gave up. Under setting on your ie make it compatible, should fix ssn issue. Seriously good luck it's a disaster.
