Would just like to know what department everyone here feels like is the most important department for SD when it comes to keeping any chance there is to survive these low oil prices?

Keep HR. They are the shining star that shows the way. They also are where management can find easy distractions. And I do mean Easy.
SD is toast. But to address the comments about "Groobert's group" and community outreach - those departments did just as much good as all the engineers, landmen, geologists, etc who made the brilliant decisions to drill in the Miss and focus on SWD wells.
Definitely keep Groobert's groop, they've kept the investors happy with the rise in stock prices. And the community outreach dept too, they coordinate the Corporate Challenge dragon boat racing and tug-o-war competition, cant do without those.
