If you drive by OSS they are eagerly awaiting a new sign under where it used to say "A Cameron & Schlumberger Company". All CAMERON wording has been covered up.
That particular location has probably been pre-tagged as one of the SLB/Cameron day one kick-off points when SLB is officially in charge. Just need to reveal the "a Schlumberger company" under the Cameron logo and then have some sort of 'celebration' ceremony most likely.

The merger isn't waiting on the US government for approval (not FCC by the way) they approved in November. It's awaiting approval from the Chinese govt.
Well, maybe a bit premature. "A Schlumberger Company" was covered up with paper this morning. Still gotta think an announcement is imminent.

And yet there are those who still live in denial. Just wait until SLB rips through Cameron and guts it. What better way to leasen the expense of such an acquisition than to reduce headcount.
Partnership? Remeber who bought who. All they want is the name. It's easy to cut the fat when there are no new builds going out for a while.
