Will the folks that got the axed in 2015 get the CIP bonus? While doing the exit paper work with HR I thought I was told that we would qualify for it! Has anyone else hear this?

Because WARN requires 60 days notice.
"keep in mind they will likely be kept on the payroll for 60 more days (at home)."
Why would they keep folks on payroll for an extra two months sitting at home and not let them work ?
Odds are if you don't have the ability to go to the CIP website and look up the fact yourself, then it's a good thing you got axed.
I was told there will be no IPF if you were laid off... I was in line to receive 2+ due to feedback from projects finished early in the year...
100% yes. You will get it if you finished out the year. Ex ROM'd supervisor said don't be surprised that you get a 2-. Common place. Those who stay will get pumped up higher.....you can't fight it. Sucks if you want to return. Maybe Chevron will loose the info lol...not out of the question.
I suppose that Chevron will follow through in 2016 what it did for employees in 2015 concerning eligibility for the CIP bonus. It will be prorated so long as you were on the payroll for at least 3 months. If some folks are expected to find out they are left standing by March 31, that would qualify them for the prorated 2016 CIP. But, keep in mind they will likely be kept on the payroll for 60 more days (at home). Those 2 months will qualify as extra months toward the CIP. Caveat: Chevron can change the rules about CIP or anything for that matter at will.
@FMpbfZU-gvd - I wonder if this will also apply to 2016 CIP for folks in 2016 ESP. They will find out at the end of March if they are 'left standing'. Not sure if they will be walked out immediately, but assuming that they are on the payroll until at least March 31, 2016 would they be elligible for 2016 CIP award next year ?
I guess we will find out during the 'how to be left standing training sessions' during second half of February.
Watson said during the townhall that 4,000 employees will be laid off, mostly in CNAEP.
So long as you were employed with Chevron for 3 full months before getting the axe, you will get a prorated share of the CIP bonus. You will get 1/12th share for every month you were employed in 2015.
Yes, but it'll be prorated.
If you were involuntarily terminated...yes.
Yup! if they have one. I was told the same thing, and had it confirmed by management.
