You're correct there will be pay offs ..there just has to be but until then just get on with it and, instead of bumping your gums on here with all your negativity go and do your sums to see how much you will have to cut back if you do get the heave-ho. And as for the others who are moaning about now getting a pay rise this year...........................REALLY!!!!!! Did you honestly think that we would get an annual increase. Grow up ffs. And for all of you who as pi**** off because you haven't had a pay rise...off you pop, there's no one keeping you here...good luck in trying to find another job where you get the same pay.

Another job with equivalent pay depends on what you're currently making. What was your gross pay from Baker last year? Surely it's on the front of your mind this time of year.

You had that one buddy that was a little slow in elementary school. You get to junior high and you notice he's not in your English class.. They put him in 101 (special education). I'd have to help him with his English papers during study hall. After a while as you get older you realize that your friend won't be making it as far up the ladder as you. You both hire on at Halliburton at roughly the same time. You started at the same position. You're a coordinator, service leader, SS 3 or something of that sorts. He's fueling trucks and running a t-belt. You're still helping him with his homework but it's now called competencies. He's you're friend from childhood and although he may be a great guy, he's a simpleton. Yup, that's the guy that wrote the post. Bless his heart !
