It may be good time to consider other fields of employment. Or, for those who made nuts amounts of money during the good times, hopefully you can live off of your savings for a while or just go ahead and retire. Anyone who spends at or beyond their means because things appear to be cool, is an utterly fool.

The oil and gas jobs are focused in Texas and Oklahoma, with a focus on Houston, Tulsa and OKC. The career focus will indeed need to be in another industry and another location. The layoffs will continue and the competition for jobs in the noted locations will continue to increase. And unfortunately the employers focus on local hires so if you have a desired location to live you might at well move to the location now with or without a job. Quite a few of the tax credits to the companies include contingencies for local hires. Mobility is overrated.
Maybe it's not easy, but some of the COP female managers are use to it. Instead of cash, they got promotions.
Hooking ain't easy....
Perhaps I should consider purchasing some kneepads and becoming a supervisor / manager and Spotfire can be our porn
Those who spend for EC3 move because things are cool and cut employees in the next few months, with less than 5years, and have no where to go. while those with 20-30 years of experience sit on their throne of wealth, and try to reason and beg why they should stay, instead of being put out to pasture and shot!! SOooo Who's next to be on the slaughter list because higher ups have a hair up their ass and think the EC3 move will be a boost in morale and justify it. EC3 is a is a moneypit and those running this show are as useless as one piece of toilet paper to wipe the sh1t you make.
What are you considering?
