Extraordinary is not quite the term that comes to mind. Btw I enjoyed the homophobic and bigoted comments as i am the OP. The fact of the matter is that a true change is not going to happen. People will leave whether voluntary or not. Those who remain will stand to prove themselves. no one will agree with who should remain, but the problems that exist are long standing and the listed people have done nothing to lead or change things and in so many ways have made things worse for personal gain. The people named are all extra-ordinary hard working people and do their best for Chevron everyday. I also believe the CPMS process is cumbersome and needs so major overhauling. But the people are following the process. The process needs changing. Take on more risks with project management and cut the time to deployment down to 25% of all the rigor you go through now. Again, the people named are awesome. It is the process that needs remediation.

I agree Chevron IT has no idea how to run a project. They keep putting people in Project Management jobs with no training outside of Chevron and then try and claim to be experts. IT Leadership has no idea how to runa project and FAKS it a lot. Jim Green should have been fired long ago for wasting so many millions on bad IT pet projects.

BottomLine - Chevron IT projects are poorly run, the ITC PMO has no clue about Project Management and you have managers that have no expereince in Project Management trying to tell us how to runa project. I am ready to leave this place myself. it is a big screw up. Why do these GM's get to stay, it it time for them to go.
