Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

All blue badges will be green badges in 2016!!!

Watch out all employees in 2016 because all blue badges will soon be green badges. Yes that means all employees will be contractors in 2016 when Chevron sells the company to BP. Get ready for it. No more outrageous bonuses and raises for u blue badges.

Yep...BP is basically trying to NOJV all of North America, especially deep water US. Too much liability to operate.

Don't think that's going to happen. BP took a hefty (and partially unjust) blow in Macondo, and they have been restructuring ever since. Their size has reduced a lot, and they are making changes to be an even leaner company and don't have any aspirations to be a major (like XOM, CVX, Shell).

it will be the other way around. Chevron will buy BP or Exxon will buy them both since they just suspended their stock buyback, which usually means they need the money for a major acquisition.

Stop your non-sense. BP has no money and it is under massive cost control efforts. BP is broke

Never say never but after reading about BP's 4th quarter and changes at the top, I very much doubt it.
