Anyone laid off the past month from BH? Did they call everyone in for the meeting with HR or just those being laid off? Severance package deals? Anyone know what's going on at the WV yard? Ohio yard? And Mill hall PA yard ?

That is now the standard Baker way now on how they treat their employees.
You would think that HR would have mastered the art of the layoff by now? Work with the layoff manager on how to handle a layoff professionally, with dignity, and to avoid a lawsuit?
Sounds like a good case for a big lawsuit.
That is dirty. After 12 years of service they could have handled things better.
I hope you consulted with a lawyer. This is grounds for a law suit. HR is getting lazy or maybe the smart ones are laid off.
I was laid off at start of January, by text at 09:00am. I was then emailed some papers for signing at 10:00am. That was it after 12 years. No other communication not even from my manager, Then this week I find that they have hired a new overseas (Indian) worker doing same job.
