They do the minimum to not get caught in a discrimination scandal, this is true. Who is was targeted? Are you more at risk if you're engineering or a geoscientist? Or do they cut you if you're a planner or finance or HR rep? Seeking people's experiences. By the way, I'm asking about direct employees, not contractors.

I would not call it discrimination but rather favoritism. It seems that management learned nothing about how the departments run, JD & ST seem to be a complete ignorant and clueless about what goes on in the departments. This rearrangement of the workforce will be costly. Just saying
