Chevron does not need to be buying anybody right now...they need to be worrying about getting bought out by another major if anything.

Really personally believe this may be the root of the problems we have now...buying other companies out and putting these people that already run their company in the ground in positions to run this company in the ground.

I do not see assimilation from some of the folks that came over from the sales...they refuse to do things like Chevron does them, they want to hang on to the old company way of doing things...still the corruption, bosses letting folks they worked with in old company before, get paid when they are not working...accepting gifts and requiring vendors to carry them to lunch everyday. Doing what ever they want to beat the system... They remove access from SAP so folks that know the business cannot see what is going on with financials and budgets. Not adapting processes and procedures that Chevron uses, Lying and hiding paperwork from Auditors to make it look good but still not doing the Chevron processes like they are intended, when it would be easier to follow the Chevron OE processes...They always got to put their variance to the processes so it is more like they did it in the past with the old company, and it would work. These processes are standard so everyone can move from one location to the other and can do what you are suppose to do...and do it right. Nobody cares. I may not care in a couple of months either...ESP...

This is not just in one location, I have watched this go on for the last 15 years in several locations all over the world and they are still doing it.

Ok, now you're talking about Chevron. I suppose if the price is right, we may have a shot at acquiring Anadarko's assets. But in a low oil price environment that can be long term, the price would have to be very low. There's always an opportunity to make a buck if the deal is sweet enough.

You do know Chevron tried to buy Anadarko in October? They have 45 billion in Stock buy back they will use to buy a company.
