I believe Q4 2015 results are to be released this afternoon. Analysts are predicting the numbers will not be good with the Company missing it's goal for yet another quarter. Remember at that last October Q3 results the 3 Stooges were bragging how they had hired yet another 4 top SVP's to turn around the "Culture" within MattHell. Well, our culture is still in the toilet with talented designers leaving & I don't mean D Voss, along with the sales numbers so what now Ollie? Another fine mess you gotten us into......more rolling layoffs in order to help fund the dividend payout as cash reserves continue to evaporate due to poor sales? Yikes........we'll see this afternoon.
I remember him coming into work (DCP) with his white button down shirt half undone, jeans, open toed sandals on his mid life crisis motorcycle. Such a aloof douche trying to play it cool when he was drowning.
I had to work with that POS when he was at DCP before they whacked him. What a weasel of the lowest grade. Both he & Evil Lynn are a match made in heaven. Just watch, he'll be back.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would hire Len back (flaky middle aged man). then again it is Mattel.
I always like sitting in meetings where PR will present the stats on marketing's new youtube commercial that was just released. "And we're super excited to let everyone know that the video just hit 250 thousand hits since last year." This is after they've spent half a million dollars on the campaign. Meanwhile, some youtube kid reviews a toy in his bedroom and has 5 million views and didn't spend a dime. AND he has 10 other videos with the same amount of views. Matthell is so out of touch.
"Normal" Barbie is tried every few years. Little girls don't want them.
I'm still surprised that EvilLynn's husband Len Mazacco hasn't weaseled his back into MattHell for yet a 3rd time. Barbie's flat feet didn't help flat/declining sales did it?
If they don't put the different bodies in animation, ads, etc then it really is just lip service. Then again when you have a vapid leader like Evelyn running the brand into the ground four years running, what do you expect? She's the same one who thought having flat feet for Barbie was a huge deal last year.
The are grasping @ straws a day late, millions of dollars short. They will consider it "great PR" as they always do as some media attention is better than none. Next we'll see an Animated Barbie pimping a Jenny Craig weight loss program but I wanna see a Duck Dynasty Barbie holding a shotgun & comes packed out with a real DDDuckcall. Fashionista goes hillbilly, that's what I'm talking about. Tough to cover up smelly Q4 numbers with our stock at $27 while Hasbro is at $72, ouch. They will just point to the future bragging/touting how the Superman vs. Batman movie is coming but will be extremely short lived toy sales wise & how we got the license of DPCars 3 after CSinclair & Dickson had to publicly kiss ass/apolligize to Disney after losing Frozen/Princess Brands.......Hasbro's loving life except for hiring Jean Gomez?........not quite as smart as I thought they were :( She's as dumb as a rock, just talks loud & dresses slutty.
All the purchased adverts , sorry "editorials" that ran yesterday sounded very promising until I saw the curvy shaped doll. It would have been A little more convincing if they'd actually sculpted a fuller face to go along with that curvy body. So they took a regular Barbie head and stuck it on a curvy body!?? so ridiculous! Mattel can't even commit to his own objectives!
