You know why they keep closing stores and pushing internet sales? Because that's where people do most of their shopping these days! Why not follow the money?
I'm not saying it's right, but if you want stores and those jobs to still exist - you need to buy local. Keep visiting brick and mortar stores instead of spending all your money at Amazon.
And by the way... on the corporate side, why do they always let go of people with knowledge and promote people who don't know shit?

You know the stores are doomed when the main focus is rewards and digital receipts. Basically all employees are peons to collect customer information to try and stay alive with an online presence. It's really sad I've been with the company two years and it's been a series of extremely dumb head scratching decisions.
