Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Just move on, this company is in trouble has been going down hill for a while...it's not going to change, the cuts will be bigger and hurt more....just move on get a better job where you are appreciated not abused everyday,the jobs are out there. ..and I'm proof!! Move on!!!! You can do better!

One day to show staples that consumers can spend their money elsewhere would not cause laid offs.

That's a skill management does without help.

Don't be fooled, customers do read this board. Several have responded on the past when the SDO's closed. For the customers out there, I'd love to hear your take on this latest round of BS from this company.

Don't use Staples as your Post Office either..they're trying to take over our Unites States Post Offices... which will eliminate thousands of US Jobs..

they pay workers low wages and offer no health benefits, retirement, ... not even full time work. Most Staples employees will be right in line with Walmart Employees.. by still collecting government assistance because these companies will not pay a decent living wage..

Better to ask board members to send a clear message that will not reward bad decisions and get rid of Ron.

A boycott would not be effective and it would hurt the wrong people.

I really want to say that these clowns have such a bad reputation that they would not got hired in an executive capacity any where else, but I'd probably be wrong. These guys are just one step ahead of crooks like Kenneth Lay, Bernie Ebbers, Sanjay Kumar and Angelo Mozilo.

Great idea, let's boycott Staples and drive thousands more people who need jobs into unemployment. That'll give top management something to think about for the whole ten minutes it'll take for them to sign on with another corporation and continue making millions. Whoohoo, let's do this!
