It's only going to be 5%. All geomarkets and CoE.
500 to be cut from central area in drilling. Confirmed, plans in place. Brace yourselves
Heard potential cut of 20% in Sugar Land Upstream Chemicals.
Wow. So baker has new tools? New tools? Plural? As in more than 1? Gasp.
The moronic thing is that talent mgmt decided to work on first year academy training last year (when no one was hiring) so ALL new trainjng was put on hold. so no new trainjng on new tools has come out in over a year. Even when we complained about the financial implications, HR and GPS rolled over. Blame Francesco Turdchetti and Jennifet Rodgers-trying to look good for HAL at expense of Baker bottom line. How can we sell contracts on new tools and technology when no one is trained to use it. If deal doesn't go through, Baker is screwed.
Hearing Tomball will be hit hard . Nearly another 10% will be gone .
How many are due to go in Sugar Land's chemical business?
I am sorry, after these 6000 dirt employee (or end of food chain by using one VP's word), 60% of BHI people will be managers. Directors, VPs, CxOs
What. Joke company
If SLB is laying of another 10,000 in Q1 2016 due to losses in Q4 of 2015 imagine how bad Q4 is going to be for BHI who has reported a loss nearly every quarter of 2015. So another 6000 might be rather on the lower end for BHI. http://247wallst.com/energy-business/2016/01/22/schlumberger-to-cut-10000-jobs/
What's the source of such a large number? I don't doubt there could be (probably will be) more but 6,000?
Mmmmmmmmm Stinnnnnnky Curry
No FKing way, 6000?
Maybe possible for global.
What I heard global is about 4500
