Destin is going to be a dog. I can't get my head around this one...who the heck in the FL region picks these locations???
That store is gonna be auch a seasonal dog..worse sales than tallahassee and jacksonville...bad regional decision making once again..they have no store in gainsville,nothing on the space coast between palm beach county all the way up to jacksonville..about as dumb as that idea of opening the store 6 blocks from the old store on south beach..oops that one aint opening now...
The upcoming grand opening store in the SW Region, CityLine, will also follow the same combo team format. Good luck to the suckered that take that trap of failure.
Where in florida is this new store?
I saw that last week. My guess is all new stores will follow that format from here on out, existing stores will be converted later. Maybe sooner, maybe later, but definitely in this fiscal year. Although many people have left and not been replaced, I don't see how they can cut so many positions without layoffs, especially since we got off easy the first round. Everyone down here is just waiting for the axe to drop.
