Any news on layoffs in West Texas, specifically Sterling City? I'm working in electrical, making good money, have an associates deg, won some awards, trying to see if they'll let me keep my job. Gotta love this place to want to stay so bad

My impression from our talks is that the field service teams could be gutted across the entire MCBU. All FMTs will probable try to sell something in the next few years. And they expect production to increase in the Permian at the same time. It's a real shame for the new people just hired thinking Chevron would valve their employees more. I for one am regretting coming to this company.
Tell that to the folks at the Dollarhide, Wharton and Sundown FMT'S. At our meeting we were told all O&M people would have to reapply for our jobs. No one is safe, except for the Friends and Family folks.
You should be fine...most layoffs will be in the Midland office.
