So to summarize - one of the new VPs was removed from his last field job because he is horrible and people hated him, but I'm sure it is just because he wasn't being challeneged. The new HES Director is quite possibly the biggest butt-sucking idiot on the face of the earth. He has ridden coat-tails his entire career while working hard to avoid any type of decision or putting his name on anything of consequence. Please Lord let the economy turn around so I can get out of here.

Misplaced diversity initiative. I'm a woman and I can say this - this woman was clearly given the position because she is female. There are many more worthy and competent men who could have been placed in that position. At the employee meeting is was clear that she did not have a clue - and was the worst public speaker I have ever seen at that level in any company.
The new org chart put an absolute MORON in the HESS Director seat and left a total heartless, clueless about HES, VP in place. Good luck to those that are left. I truly hurt for you. If you have a passion for what's right in the HESS world, you won't see it with those two.
WTF do you know who the HES Director is? I assume you meant HES VP, if so he is a she. Although your assessment is probably accurate regardless.
Our Board is full of 'good ole boys' that let Tillman do whatever the hell he wants. I guess they are okay with going down with the ship. Hoping Gaurdie is reading these posts and is willing to shake things up.
