@608--yep, a boiler room. Remember the "drive theory" and uncovering an idiot student's "pain?" UOP is more a snake oil dealer than a college. It will ultimately fail in the next couple of years.

@078 - The reps who left yesterday were amongst some of the best talent the company had. There's an abundance of companies already posting recruiting links to hire these reps. Little do you know about the wealth of funds this place dumped to help reps become master communicators. Opening of call, purpose statement, agenda, discovery, isolating concerns, LFBB's, and closing are just a few examples.
Good one, OP. You got me......
@654--you are an idiot Phoenix graduate. You and your ilk will always just be call center reps, wherever you go. There's zero talent at UOP, you f***ing idiot. Circle K is hiring hicks like you.
I'm an older woman who was just lets go. I just yahoo this and heavens to Betsy!!!
Please google this. From your work computer lol
Meant to say, today, along with the other past few layoffs mark days where you have lost tons of incredible talent and you don't want to continue losing your best assets to others.
Anon - there were tons of happy volunteers today. I was one of them. I want to make it clear though that this was more of a perfect opportunity to take a leap of faith into other things in life. Not necessarily because the company is terrible. They were necessary steps and I truly wish those sticking it through the best. If executives make it out to this site -- take the time to listen. Listen to their comments, frustrations, ambitions and learn how to appreciate the amount of talented value that you have within. Today marks a day that you have lots incredible talent, and you don't want it to continue going elsewhere.
OP - Representation for what? We are at-will employees who can be let go at any time for any (non-illegal) reason. What is the company doing that would generate a legitimate cause of action?
Did anyone else notice the sheer joy of those folks who picked up their voluntary termination packets today?
You're so stupid.
