I didn't know what I was volunteering for...i just found out it was to lose my job. Do I have a case? It said 'no severance' I thought that meant I wouldn't be layed off, turns out it means I volunteered to be terminated without any severance. I was also told I could volunteer my sick and vaca time to give to others that were laid off to help pay their expenses. Sharing sounds good. Please help. My supervisor's name begins with an L and she's a woman.

We had plenty of notice, no case for being an idiot. Lol. Uninformed. ...really?....
What didn't you read in the email, what didn't you understand? There was no confusion or shady business going on with the vol package. I am sorry you misunderstood. Did you talk to your manager? Did you ask for someone to explain it? Sounds like a lot of the contractors and turn and burn people that have come through the ACC. These people don't know how to work. You failed yourself. The emails provided a step by step guide to what you are entitled to and what your options were. You and others hired like you give the AECCSS and its veteran reps a bad name.
You worked for a company who screwed over the consumer and taxpayers. Now you complain they did the same to you. Looks like your karma caught up with you
Sounds like that UOP education paid off.
You got a different deal then everyone else I know. Maybe you should read it again lol
I have learn lessons the hard way too. You will be more aware in the future. Good luck to you
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
@703--you not only worked for UOP, but you got your degree there. You obviously are incapable of reading a contract--good luck ever finding a good job again. You'll make a fine stock girl at Wal-Mart or a cashiere at Circle K. You're a f***ing idiot.
Yeah I thought it means that I could tell people YOUR FIRED!!! like Donald trump
