Noble is a great company to work for and I trust the judgement of the management, they have only let go the incompetent bunch to save the deserving ones. Remember you are not the only ones getting let go, look around and wake up.

I have to agree with the comments from Ardmore....the people in that office were the most loyal, competent, self-sacrificing group of people I have ever had the pleasure to work with....while here is Houston, all that matters is you kiss KF's ass and feed his ginormous ego. The guys who would stand up to him and actually be honest have long been run off (good for them) and no one with a voice or integrity remains. Now all we have are a bunch of guys who look out for themselves only. I am one of the few who remain since KF came and these last few years have been the most miserable of my entire career. Maybe I will go in the next round, and join my Ardmore brothers and sisters on the unemployment line. This company was so awesome back when Chuck and Chris Tong were here.
Incompetent? Really? Do you know any of us? Were you there with us when we stayed at work through tornado warnings and flooding to make sure our deadlines were met? Were you a part of our office that gave up the fancy expensive Christmas party for self glorification?
The so called incompetents in Ardmore instead of wasting money on a party for us, chose to use what money were we given to give back to the community in which we lived with our families and friends. Money that was spent to buy food baskets for the needy, to schools for special projects, and kids at the children's shelter for a party with clothes and toys. I am also sure the money that we received to do those things was not nearly as much as what is wasted in Houston for the Christmas party. Those of us that were fortunate enough to work in the Ardmore office have a connection to each other that no other office of NEI will ever have, we had and still have a heart for those we worked with, we were and still are truly family, something you probably would never understand. Hopefully you will learn this lesson before you are humbled by it.

These layoffs had nothing to do with competence. Had mostly to with how much you kissed managements ass. If you have superior ass-kissing skills you most likely were kept. If not you were probably laid-off. It's the way of Noble Energy.
Only the incompetent was kept! Especially in non management jobs. Making less money allowed those to stay.
You really must be brainless! Either you are one of the upper management’s boy/girl or if someone open your desk drawer, the only thing they will see is knee pad or Chapstick. Noble deserve people like you.
That's a joke. They cut my entire department except for the lowes paid, lowest ranking person in the group. The one who came in late and left early, while taking 2 hours lunches. This was all about the bottom dollar, and not performance based at all. It will come back to haunt them.
Lijo? trust the judgement of the management and we'll see where that'll take you.....i promise you, one day you will taste that bitter tast of layoff. Only then you'll realize that all you are is a number.......

Incompetent, really? Do you know them all? I highly doubt it! Until you're in their shoes, you should mind your own business and keep your comments to yourself! They are not whining! Right or not, they have a right to vent! Can't say I blame them!
