You Can Prevent

https://hbr.org/2012/07/you-can-prevent-layoffs.html (just one of a thousand examples)

These experiences are though, violent, for those who go and for those who stay... These experiences will probably be written in our hearts for the rest of our lives. You trust, you give all of yourself and you are escorted out of the door the day after. This happens all the times at work, at school, with your kids, with your partner.... It is part of life… and all of this is permitted by law. So nobody is really doing what cannot be done. It is all matter of choices. Now It is our job to protect our hearts, to weight carefully the people we choose to associate with, to define our values and live them fully… there are... and there could have been ways to avoid what happened, and there are many strategies, for each side of this reality, to choose from if you want to act respectfully of the human beings as much as the business needs or the activity levels… I wish for all of us to remember this and to act respectfully of our lives, our hearts, our values, and our activities… There are many options available to us out there… make sure you choose mindfully

I used to convince myself everything was “good enough.” When wild thoughts would surface, I would eventually silence them with excuses. It was always more comfortable to go back to complaining about what wasn’t right or was missing than actually doing something about it. I was successful and "secure" in the financial and material sense which slowed my recognition that it is time to move on. It is not all bad....overall

That is: never give someone else control over your life and emotional health... Dont give people or situations overestimated values... measure things... do not be naïve... I know of a few companies who have addressed the decline in the commodity price in a more innovative way.. NBL simply does not fall under these cases of innovative and effective approach to human management... All the hatred that I read in these pages is simply hurting...and doing no good to anyone.... Observe this experience dont get stoned though... Realize that you are in control, you own it and you can decide the quality of life you want to live ...you choose the way you want to live... Many of these bad experiences could have been prevented... but in the end... it is all just temporary... So enjoy the time off .... re-center.... have fun, know that all the FAKENESS is behind your shoulder, it is in the past... so celebrate the moment and be mindful...

...P.S... flowers are never wrong ;-) ....anyway...
